With their hard-driving, fast tempo, incredible instrumentation and outstanding entertaining abilities The Holloway Sisters & Outta The Blue are considered rising stars in the world of bluegrass!! This band has placed in several competitions around Tennessee winning awards as well as hearts. They have played at Dollywood, on WIVK, several theatres in Tennessee and have been a feature story on Live at Five.
The Holloway Sisters & Outta The Blue pride themselves on their ability to bring an entertainingly skilled bluegrass performance to the young and the young at heart. Their style of music conforms from traditional bluegrass to new-wave bluegrass with a hint of country. Many of the bands influences are Allison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, and Dolly Parton.
With a banjo picker who maintains a clean, polished Earl Scruggs style, a fiddle player who is unsurpassed with her rendition of Orange Blossom Special, a rhythm guitar player who stands out with her entertaining ability, and an upright bass player who keeps timing while adding a deep roar to tie it all together, The Holloway Sisters & Outta The Blue leave the crowd with an exciting and unbelievable performance that keeps them coming back for more!!
